Service Agreement
This Service Agreement governs your rights and obligations when using the NOKNOK platform. The outline below is a working draft; the version published after legal review will govern.
1. Acceptance & amendments
Registering or using the platform constitutes acceptance; amendments are announced on the platform and continued use means acceptance.
2. Services & platform role
NOKNOK is a rental information and matching platform: long/short-term rentals run an end-to-end transaction; sale and new-build channels are information/lead-gen only (no brokerage, no commission). The platform holds no funds pool.
3. Account & identity verification
Users must provide truthful information and complete the relevant KYC level (L0 browsing to L3 ownership). Accounts are non-transferable.
4. User obligations & prohibited conduct
No false listings, discriminatory rental conditions, or unlawful clauses (e.g., barring rent subsidies or household registration).
5. Listing rules
Landlords/managers/agencies must have lawful authority and pass review; listings not re-confirmed in time are auto-removed.
6. Fees, subscriptions & escrow
Subscription and add-on fees follow platform announcements; deposits and rent are held in escrow by a third-party payment partner — the platform never handles the funds.
7. E-contracts & handover records
Parties may sign electronically on the platform; handover photos and similar records serve only as dispute evidence.
8. Reviews, reports & disputes
Users may review and report per the rules; disputes are mediated under the platform mechanism, with judicial recourse where necessary.
9. Intellectual property
The platform and its content are owned by NOKNOK or its licensors and may not be used without permission.
10. Privacy & personal data
Collection, processing and use of personal data follow the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The platform does not warrant third-party content or transaction outcomes and limits its liability to the extent permitted by law.
12. Suspension & termination
For breaches of this Agreement, the platform may restrict, suspend or terminate the account.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan); the Taiwan Taipei District Court has first-instance jurisdiction.
